1. The Service
Little Light House is a monthly letter subscription service operated in Canada that delivers a curated envelope to subscribers across Canada. Each envelope contains a personal letter, an affirmation card, The Little Extra (a variable monthly item), seasonal stickers, an illustrated postcard, and a tea bag. Contents may vary month to month as each envelope is individually curated.
2. Eligibility
Our service is available to residents of Canada only. By subscribing, you confirm that you have a valid Canadian mailing address and are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement in your province or territory of residence. If you are subscribing on behalf of a minor, you accept responsibility for ensuring the service is appropriate.
3. Subscription Plans and Pricing
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required. We offer the following plans:

5. Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe Inc. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge you in accordance with your selected plan. For the 1 month recurring plan, your payment method will be charged automatically each month until you cancel. For the 3, 6, and 12 month plans, a single upfront charge is made at the time of subscription.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
1 month plan: You may cancel at any time by contacting us at hello@mylittlelighthouse.ca. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the current month.
3, 6, and 12 month plans: These plans are paid upfront and are generally non-refundable once your first envelope has been dispatched. If you wish to discuss a cancellation before your first envelope ships, please contact us promptly at hello@mylittlelighthouse.ca and we will consider your request in good faith.
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation.

8. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and current information including your name, mailing address, and email address. If you change address, you must notify us at hello@mylittlelighthouse.ca before your next envelope is dispatched. We cannot be responsible for envelopes delivered to an outdated address we were not notified to update.
9. Intellectual Property
All content associated with Little Light House — including but not limited to letters, artwork, illustrations, copy, branding, logo, and website design — is the intellectual property of Little Light House and is protected under applicable Canadian copyright law. Content may not be reproduced, distributed, shared publicly, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Letters are personal communications intended solely for the named recipient.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Little Light House shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use our service or website. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for your current subscription term. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email with reasonable notice. Continued use of our service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The current version will always be available at mylittlelighthouse.ca.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or our service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario. We encourage you to contact us first at hello@mylittlelighthouse.ca — most concerns can be resolved quickly and fairly without formal proceedings.
