Is it really you writing every letter?

Yes. Every single word. I sit down each month and write — about the season, what’s on my mind, what life looks like from where I’m standing. No team, no templates, no shortcuts. Just me, a pen, and a lot of heart. That’s the whole point. 

What’s actually inside each envelope?

Six things — a personal letter from me, an affirmation card with one sentence worth keeping, The Little Extra (something different every month — a question, a checklist, a scratch card, a spark), seasonal stickers, an original illustrated postcard, and a tea bag. Make the tea first. Then read the letter. That’s the ritual.

What is The Little Extra?

It’s a surprise every month — something I choose specifically for that time of year. Some months it’s a reflective question to sit with. Other months it’s a wellness checklist, a scratch card, a motivational note, or something else entirely. It’s never the same twice and always chosen with you in mind.

 

Does the content change every month?

Always. Every letter is written fresh — a new season, a new feeling, new stickers, new art, a new Little Extra. Nothing is ever repeated. Every envelope is its own little world.

 

Who is this for?

Honestly? Anyone. Anyone who loves the feeling of real mail. Anyone who misses having a penpal. Anyone who wants something warm and personal to look forward to every month. You don’t need a reason beyond that — wanting it is enough.

 

Shipping & delivery

Where do you ship?

Anywhere in Canada — that’s it for now. I ship through Canada Post and every envelope goes out at the start of each month, typically arriving within the first week or so. I’m keeping this close to home while I get started, but who knows what the future holds.

Do you ship to the US or internationally?

Not yet — but it’s something I genuinely want to make happen. Right now Little Light House is Canada only while I get things running smoothly. US and international shipping is on the horizon and I’ll announce it when the time is right. If you’re outside Canada, keep an eye on my socials — you’ll be the first to know when that door opens.

When will my first letter arrive?

Your first envelope ships in August. Every envelope after that goes out at the start of each month and typically finds its way to your mailbox within the first week or so.

Pricing & payment

What are the plans and prices?

There are four plans to choose from. The 1 month plan is $22 a month, billed monthly, and you can cancel anytime. The 3 month plan is $59 upfront (normally $66 — founding members save 10%). The 6 month plan is $119 upfront (normally $132 — founding members save 10%). And the 12 month founding member plan is $224 upfront (normally $264 — founding members save 15%). Founding member rates are locked in for as long as you stay subscribed.

How does payment work?

The 1 month plan is billed monthly and you can cancel anytime. The 3, 6, and 12 month plans are paid upfront in full — one payment, no surprises, no recurring charges mid-plan. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Will I be charged automatically again?

For the 1 month plan, yes — it renews automatically each month until you cancel. For the 3, 6, and 12 month plans, there are no automatic renewals. Your plan runs its course and that’s it. When your term ends I’ll reach out to see if you’d like to continue. The choice is always yours.

Can I cancel mid-plan?

For the 1 month plan, you can cancel anytime — no questions asked. For the 3, 6, and 12 month plans, because they’re paid upfront in full there’s nothing to cancel mid-way — your letters will keep coming until your term naturally ends. If something comes up, reach out to me directly. I’m a real person and I’ll always do my best to make things right.

What happens when my plan ends?

Your final letter arrives and that’s your term complete. I’ll be in touch to see if you’d like to keep going. No pressure, no guilt — but I’ll be secretly hoping you stay. 🤍

What is a founding member?

The first 100 people to subscribe to any paid plan become founding members of Little Light House. As a founding member you lock in a discounted rate that stays with you for as long as you remain subscribed — even after prices go up. You also receive an exclusive founding gift tucked into your very first envelope. Something special, just for the first 100.

What are the founding member discounts?

Founding members on the 3 month plan pay $59 instead of $66 — saving 10%. The 6 month plan is $119 instead of $132 — saving 10%. And the 12 month plan is $224 instead of $264 — saving 15%. These rates are locked in forever as long as you stay subscribed.

What is the exclusive founding gift?

Something special tucked into your very first envelope — just for the founding 100. It won’t be in any envelope after that. Think of it as a thank you from me for believing in this before anyone else did. The details are still coming together but I promise it’ll be worth it.

 

What happens after all 100 founding spots are claimed?

Once all 100 founding spots are gone, the discounted rates close and new subscribers pay full price — $22 monthly, $66 for 3 months, $132 for 6 months, or $264 for 12 months. Little Light House stays open, the founding member offer simply closes. If you’re reading this, there are still spots available — don’t wait too long.

Does the 1 month plan qualify for founding member pricing?

The 1 month plan stays at $22 a month regardless — there’s no founding discount on the monthly plan since it’s already the most flexible option. Founding member pricing and the exclusive gift apply to the 3, 6, and 12 month plans only.
